Wulvern is top of the league!

A netball team, named after their sponsor, local housing provider Wulvern, are celebrating after winning the premiere division of the South Cheshire Netball League.

Playing in a striking kit sponsored by Wulvern, the team won the league with 106 points after a close battle with everything hinged on the last game of the season.

Team Captain and Manager, Hannah Geal said “The funding we received from Wulvern has contributed to our great result this season.  Without it we would not have been able to enter the league as all players have to wear a matching kit.  It has built team moral and confidence, which has all contributed to our fantastic first season.

Wulvern’s Director of Partnerships, Rob Allen, comments, “We were really keen to help the team out and are delighted by their success.  We are playing our part in promoting health, fitness and wellbeing in the communities we serve.  We’re really proud to be involved in the league.”
