Cumbria Memorial Tournament
Lindal Netball Club is running a fundraising tournament, in memory of our much-loved coach and founding member Gillian Blain who sadly lost her life to cancer on the 16th of April this year.
On Saturday 11th September 2010 we are holding a Netball Tournament and Family Fun day at Dowdales School in Dalton (DASH). We think the event will be a fitting tribute to Gill who loved netball and encouraged so many people to take part in the game, whatever their level.
Gill's family wanted to organise this event in her memory, with all of the proceeds going to The Oncology Unit at Furness General Hospital where Gill was so well looked after.
So it is with great pride & pleasure that we invite your team to take part in The Gillian Blain Memorial Tournament.
The Closing Date is the 23rd August – please find the entry form and all details attached.
