Dear teams
Please complete the attached form if you wish to take part in next year’s Regional Senior League. If there are too many entries per county then that county will need to decide on how to reduce the number of entrants. At this time, Cheshire may have too many entries however if another count does not fulfil their entries, then a Cheshire team make take that spare place as Manchester did last year.
Can all NW TSG Competition members pls fwd to any interested clubs and this will also be advertised on the NW website. The deadline for entries is 15 July 2011.
The dates will be as below , with home and away fixtures, you will play each other once within one section of 8, with a semi and a final at the end of the season – these will be at a central venue if we can arrange with final with a superleague fixture. (*subject to change)
Weekends of (note matches can be played Sat OR Sun – 10am – 3pm)
Sat 15th Oct Sat 29th Oct
Sat 19th Nov Sat 3rd Dec
Sat 14th Jan Sat 21st Jan
Sat 4th Feb Sat 25th Feb*
Sat 3rd March *
Umpires and table officials will be required to be supplied by each club - I would encourage you to share umpires and officials where possible. B award umpires (or those who have passed their B assessment) will be required.
This email is to enable counties to gather together the names of the clubs interested in taking part, then the counties can decide if they need a competition to decide on entries. Cheshire is the only county who’s teams qualify to the regional league through a county league.
Deadlines
Mid July - All interested clubs contact the NW – thereafter counties may have to make a decision if competition required – if competition required this MUST take
place before 15th Sept.
All counties inform the NW Comp group of entries
End July - If all clubs are known, fixtures will be provided.
If not, provisional fixtures will be provided but subject to change
Rules confirmed
Mid Sept - All fixtures finalised and payments to be received. No payments – no entry.
