The Chris Brien Inspirational Award

In 2017 when Head Coach and county volunteer for over 20 years, Chris Brien, was diagnosed with lung cancer, she inspired others throughout her last year with her courage and dedication to the sport of netball and the county she loved. The committee decided that she would be the first winner of the Chris Brien Inspirational Award for not only her actions during her diagnosis but also all the years for dedication and influence over netball in our county, from player level as a coach to administrative level as treasurer to friend and fellow player.

This award is to celebrate ANYONE who’s actions have inspired others in our sport in anyway.

Forms should be completed and returned to your [email protected] no later than 31st May 2025. Nominees will be invited to the Cheshire Presentation night on the 27th June when the award will be presented to the winner.
